Ruth Graham was a woman of great strength and character, whom her husband often described as ‘the best Christian I ever knew.’ She made Mr. Graham’s international evangelistic ministry possible, keeping the home and raising the children almost single-handedly in his absence, always praying for him and giving him spiritual counsel and wisdom. She will be remembered most fondly for her unique combination of deep spirituality, impish sense of humor and amazing strength of character.
