Welcome to the online newsroom for Bible League International (BLI), one of the world’s largest evangelical, non-denominational organizations focusing on discipleship. It partners with local churches worldwide, training and equipping Christians to use the Bible to make disciples and establish new churches.

Since its founding in 1938, Bible League International has placed millions of Bibles in the hands of people in more than 80 countries. It desires that every person who wants a Bible can have one, every neighborhood has a vibrant Bible study group and every community has a thriving church grounded in God’s Word.

Bible League can provide media resource experts on a variety of newsworthy topics, including:

  • Religious persecution
  • Ministry to Muslims
  • Changing dynamics in China
  • Bible “famine”
  • Children in Africa
  • Literacy in the developing world
  • Digital delivery mechanisms
  • Violence against Christians

Ministry Programs/Services:
Bible League International works with the local church and desires to partner with other like-minded organizations in fulfilling the Great Commission. In the Fall of 2011, Bible League combined operations with World Bible Translation Center, which shares BLI’s mission “to provide Scriptures and training worldwide, so that people prepared by the Holy Spirit will be brought into fellowship with Christ and His Church.”

BLI offers churches evangelism and discipleship materials and training through its Project Philip Partnership. Its Church Planting Institute equips trainees with the knowledge, skills and materials needed to plant churches in communities around the world.
