Members of the media have been invited to cover memorial events surrounding the passing of Ruth Bell Graham, beloved wife of evangelist Billy Graham. Mrs. Graham died Thursday, June 14, at 5:05 p.m. at her home, surrounded by her husband and children.

Onsite arrangements have been made for media at The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville, North Carolina. The phone number on-site is (828) 771-4901. Directions and credentials requests can be found online at www.arlcnewskitchen.com/ruthgraham.
Accredited media representatives, upon arrival at The Cove, will be directed to Dogwood Lodge for credentialing. Once credentialed, media will be asked to move their vehicles to the primary (yellow) parking lot, and they will then be shuttled back to the Media Center at Dogwood Lodge.
Non-affiliated media will be radioed from the gatehouse on a case-by-case basis, for consideration for Cove Media Center credentials.
Members of the press will enter the Dogwood Lodge Media Center on the lower level, adjacent to the Media Briefing room. The Media Center Workroom is located on the second level.
Satellite truck parking will be located in the primary (yellow) lot – signage will be posted clearly.
Ample electricity, audio mult-boxes, phone lines and wireless Internet will be available in the press area.
The media will be invited to attend a public funeral service for Mrs. Graham, to be held at Anderson Auditorium at the Montreat Conference Center in Montreat, N.C. Media details on this event will be forthcoming.
