WHAT: |
With the highest unemployment rate in the nation, Detroit is home to some of the most disconnected and hopeless people. Pastors and co-authors of “Jesus Loves You … This I Know,” Craig Gross and Jason Harper, are partnering with Citadel of Faith Covenant Church to renovate and give away a house to a local family severely affected by job loss and the economy. The authors seek to reveal that Jesus loves those in need of hope who feel disconnected by the difficult circumstances of life.
To nominate a deserving family to win the house, individuals should go to www.freehousesunday.com, where they can access a nomination form and eligibility information. The winning family will be chosen by the authors based on all entries. The house giveaway – “Jesus Loves the Disconnected” – is the fourth event in a national six-city tour surrounding the book, “Jesus Loves You … This I Know.
