CREATION MUSEUM LIVE NATIVITY
‘BETHLEHEM’S BLESSINGS’ MOVED INDOORS:
Cold Temperatures Prompt Museum to Invite Everyone Inside

WHat:

“Bethlehem’s Blessings,” featuring a live nativity presentation, elaborate outdoor lighting and a special “Christmas Star” planetarium program, is ongoing at the Creation Museum through Jan. 4. The outdoor display – which is free to the public – has been moved indoors for Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 22 and 23.

Staffed by volunteers from the Creation Museum, the live nativity features a replica of Bible-times village streets, complete with shopkeepers, Roman soldiers and carolers. The museum’s petting zoo animals will also take part in the Christmas display.

The ‘warm’ Road to Bethlehem will begin in the museum Portico where guests will be given their road tax shekels to ‘pay’ the Centurion before entering the Main Hall. A live nativity, complete with goats, sheep, donkey, and live characters will be in the Main Hall from 6 – 8 p.m., both Monday and Tuesday.

Vendors portraying 1st century characters will be located outside the Special Effects Theater and seasonal fare will be available in Noah’s Café.

The “Road to Bethlehem,” Dragon Hall Bookstore, and Special Effects Theater are all free to the public from 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. The Creation Museum will be open from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve (Wednesday) for FREE. Weather permitting, the Christmas activities will continue as scheduled beginning Friday and adhering to the following schedule (online at www.creationmuseum.org):

Dec. 26-27   Live Nativity 2-6 p.m.
                    Road to Bethlehem 6-8 p.m.
Dec. 28-30  Live Nativity 2-6 p.m.
Dec. 31       Live Nativity 2-4 p.m.
                    Road to Bethlehem 4-6 p.m.
Jan. 1          Live Nativity 2-6 p.m.
Jan. 2-3       Live Nativity 2-6 p.m.
                    Road to Bethlehem 6-8 p.m.
Jan. 4          Live Nativity 2-6 p.m.
