Dr. Tony Evans, Senior Pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, will begin a month-long series Sunday entitled: “How Should Christians Vote?” Dr. Evans says Christians should influence the political agenda from a biblical and not a worldly perspective.

Dr. Tony Evans is president of The Urban Alternative, his national ministry, and the founder of the National Church Adopt-A-School Initiative, a means of rebuilding communities through church and public school partnerships. He also:
- inspired George W. Bush’s commitment to faith-based initiatives
- created social programs that have drawn the support of black and white, Republican and Democrat in Texas and around the country
- was honored as one of the 10 most influential preachers of the past 50 years by Christianity Today International
- does a daily radio broadcast that is heard on more than 500 stations in the United States and in more than 40 countries
- has written some 30 books
- was the first African-American to receive a doctorate from Dallas Theological Seminary
