PSYCHOTHERAPIST THROWS PSYCHEDELIC SESSION:
Dallas Therapist/Author Hosts ’70s-Themed Networking Shindig

DALLAS, June 20 – Founder of LifeWorks Counseling Associates (www.wefixbrains.com) and acclaimed suspense author Melanie Wells hosted an open house in ’70s-style for friends, colleagues and partners on Thursday, June 19 and Friday, June 20 at her Uptown office suites. The decade known for valuing open dialogue, free expression, individuality, self-discovery and creativity was the perfect backdrop for the counseling firm committed to providing clients with a safe place to be themselves.

“Counseling can be a scary thought to some people,” Wells said. “And we wanted to open our doors and have people come see that we have a sense of humor and that we operate in an environment free of judgment and condemnation. Having issues to work through isn’t a bad thing – not addressing them can be.”

A group of party crashers showed up replete with protest signs humorously referencing Wells’ hugely successful “Day of Evil” book series about main character Dylan Foster all set in Dallas. The series – “When the Day of Evil Comes,” “The Soul Hunter” and “My Soul to Keep” are available at Abunga.com and other major book retailers.
