  • The Purpose Driven Network Summit, being held May 20-22 at Saddleback Church, is challenging pastors with a manifesto for personal, relational, missional, cultural and structural renewal in the church.
  • Participants are experiencing Mentoring and Modeling sessions, in which 35 prominent pastors are sharing their best practices and mistakes, and a group of business leaders are discussing how pastors can connect with corporate leaders to form partnerships. Emphases include how to last in ministry, what it takes to develop a spiritually mature church, the importance of ministry partners and the future of local church missions.
  • Over the past four years, Saddleback Church has sent out nearly 7,700 of its members on more than 1,002 teams working in 68 countries to test prototypes of the P.E.A.C.E. Plan, a worldwide endeavor to Promote reconciliation/plant churches, Equip leaders, Assist the poor, Care for the sick and Educate the next generation.
  • Following a review of these beta-test results, P.E.A.C.E. 2.0 will be announced in conjunction with the launch of The P.E.A.C.E. Coalition, a “network of networks” built of churches, businesses, denominations, NGOs, governments and individuals acting as peace partners, peace patrons and peace ambassadors.
