Hundreds of Women from 19 Nations Journey to Holy Land for Israel’s 60th

Aglow International – one of the world’s largest Christian organizations – is continuing its commitment to the people of Israel by bringing over 400 women from 19 nations to Jerusalem to promote unity, prayer, and to present gifts of compassion as the nation celebrates its 60th anniversary.
Jane Hansen Hoyt, president of Aglow, has designated Mon., May 12 as “Compassion Day” where hundreds of Aglow women and men will spend the day volunteering at numerous local charities serving orphans, immigrants and refugees in Be’er Sheva, Bethlehem, Haifa, Jerusalem, Kazrin, Mizpeh Ramon, and Nazareth. They also will donate “compassion suitcases” filled with toys, hygienic items and gifts, including teddy bears for child burn victims.
The organization also will join thousands of other Christians in the Global Day of Prayer, May 11, an event broadcast live on GodTV.
