In recent weeks, religion has been center stage in the arenas of entertainment, academics, politics and even race relations. One of those noteworthy stories unfolded at the National Press Club recently where the Manifesto will be unveiled.
Too often, Evangelicals are defined politically, socially or culturally, rather than theologically. This representative group of Christian influentials has primed the pump as charter signatories for this inclusive opportunity open to all Evangelical leaders and laity to be able to read, reflect, sign or comment. This document will be available via a Web site that will go live on May 7, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. (EDT).
