30-DAY CHALLENGE AVAILABLE ON WEEKLY CONFERENCE CALL:
Life Coaches and Authors of ‘One Month to Live’
Encourage People to Embrace Their Mortality and Find How to Live
WHAT: |
A powerful new book scheduled to release Feb. 5 challenges readers to come to grips with death and, in turn, discover the life they were meant to live.
In January, members of the media are invited to review the concepts of “One Month to Live: Thirty Days to a No-Regrets Life” (WaterBrook Press/Random House Inc.), with authors Kerry and Chris Shook in a weekly 15-minute telephone conference call. This weekly call is open to members of the media only.
While most people view their mortality as a harsh and unwelcome reality, the Shooks teach people to find meaning, happiness and power by embracing the fact that their time on earth is limited.

DETAILS: |
More than 500 churches across the U.S. have already expressed interest in taking their congregations through the 30-Day Challenge. Many will kick off the campaign 30 days before Easter.
The idea for the book and small-group study came from a church staff retreat where the Shooks posed the question, ”If you knew you only had one month to live, how would you live your life differently?” At the end of the 30 days, every single person had a renewed sense of passion in their lives; all had gained a new sense of purpose, beauty and clarity.
“One Month to Live” is divided into four easy-to-read sections that help readers examine the core areas in life they need to exercise and express. Each section – Live Passionately, Love Completely, Learn Humbly, and Leave Boldly – builds on a guiding principle to help people live more authentic, purposeful lives. With its universal messages, “One Month to Live” will appeal to both religious and mainstream audiences.
