FIRST DAUGHTER AT FIRST SUMMIT:
Jenna Bush to Speak at World AIDS Day Event at Saddleback Church

WHat:
The first HIV/AIDS Youth Summit at Saddleback Church, hosted by Dr. Rick and Kay Warren of Saddleback Church on Sat., Dec. 1 in connection with World AIDS Day. The Youth Summit follows the third annual Global Summit on AIDS & The Church, which was held Wed., Nov. 28 through Fri., Nov. 30. Leaders from around the world representing government, business and faith organizations came together to hear updates from each sector on the prevention, treatment and cure for HIV/AIDS, and particularly how to care for those who are already infected and affected by the pandemic.

Jenna Bush is a teacher and author of the non-fiction book, "Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope." She is the daughter of President George W. and First Lady Laura Bush.

"Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope" is a non-fiction account of a 17-year-old mother who was born with AIDS. Bush met Ana, identified only by her first name, while an intern for UNICEF in Panama. Because of discrimination against AIDS victims, some names and details in the story were altered to protect the subjects.
