The body of Dr. D. James Kennedy will lie in repose during a public viewing to be held from noon until 9 PM (EDT) Wednesday, September 12 in the Grand Narthex of the Fort Lauderdale church he founded more than 48 years ago.
 

Florida Gov. Charlie Crist is scheduled to visit Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church (CRPC) to pay his respects to Dr. Kennedy at 4:10 PM Wednesday afternoon. Throughout the day, church congregants and other guests will file by the casket in a line originating in the Concert Series Breezeway of the church.

Media parking is reserved on the south side of CRPC off NE 55 Street, including specially marked bays for satellite trucks.
 

• The casket will arrive at CRPC on Wednesday at 11:15 AM and will depart at 9:15 PM; media positioning will be available in the front of the church for both arrival and departure.
   
• B-roll of the arrival of the casket and portions of the repose will be available on-site by 1 PM and downloadable by 4 PM on the on-line newsroom located at www.DJamesKennedyNews.com
   
• Media access into the Grand Narthex will be available from 4-5 PM.
