WHAT:

How do you answer your children when they ask about dinosaurs and the Bible? The most popular paleontology resources teach evolution and timelines which are inconsistent with the biblical history.

After years of research, Ken Ham developed what he calls the Seven Ages of Dinosaurs: Formed, Fearless, fallen, Flood, Faded, Found and Fiction. These are now published in his new book, “Dinosaurs for Kids.” The primary non-biblical traditions Ham addresses are:
• Dinosaurs roamed the earth millions of years ago; and
• Dinosaurs died out before people came along.

Ham teaches kids what evolutionists believe and how they think, and then compares their ideas to what the Bible says. Readers walk away with a biblically-accurate understanding of history.

WHO:

Ken Ham, president and founder of the biblical apologetics ministry Answers in Genesis and the acclaimed Creation Museum.

WHEN:

• Friday, November 20
• other days by appointment

WHERE:

Via phone

DETAILS:

Ken Ham on dinosaurs:

  • The world was created thousands of years ago, not millions
  • Dinosaurs were created by God on the 6th day of Creation, and therefore lived alongside humans
  • The worldwide flood and its aftermath is responsible for the disappearance of the dinosaurs, as well as the layered fossil records we find

“Dinosaurs for Kids” was released last month from Master Books. It is filled with eye-popping graphics which teach about dinosaurs from a biblically-based world history. The book is filled with facts about the different dinosaur names and misnomers, what we can learn from their fossils, and what their world was like. It can be used to supplement a science course in school or homeschool curriculum. A slideshow preview is available.

Ham can also discuss the 150th anniversary of the publication of Charles Darwin’s “On the Origin of Species” which is on Tuesday, Nov. 24th.
