Aglow International recently celebrated its 40th anniversary and is one of the largest international Christian women’s organizations in the world with more than 200,000 women meeting together in 4,300 fellowship groups in 165 nations. Aglow recently opened new chapters in several countries and expects to continue that trend through 2009. Each year, the interdenominational ministry serves an estimated 17 million people worldwide through prayer, evangelism, and works of compassion. Specific focuses include support of Israel, education on Islam and programs that serve to support women worldwide in being placed in the important roles that God created for them.
